Boncelles is a suburb of Liège, about 6 miles south-west of the exit Observatoire (E25) at the entrance of the Meuse tunnel in Liège.

 

In Boncelles 159 victims of the First World War are buried, 17 of which are unknown soldiers.

 

There are also 94 victims of the Second World War. Here is the total surface of 3/4 of an acre.

 

These soldiers are all killed in the first 10 days of the war in the defense of the Liège citadel.
