Ougrée (Seraing), Allée du Beau Vivier

In one large mass grave 210 Belgian heroes are buried here. They all died in the Liège area on August 5 and 6, 1914, the second and third day of the First World War.

These casualties were part of the 9th and 14th infantry regiment and the 1st regiment foodhunters. They fell on the field of honor in their battle against the 38th and 41st German infantry brigades. Their names are listed on the impressive monument located in the shade of a beautiful tree line.
