In the municipal cemetery of Sleidinge at the Polenstraat two Belgian victims of the First World War are between the citizens of Sleidinge, both probably in perpetual concessions.

The graves are in excellent condition as a proof that there are still family members concerned about their heroes.


Maurice Criel found his death in Houthulst early in the final offensive. E. H. Charles Lehoucq was a chaplain.
