Crypt of Sint-Gillis-Brussel
The crypt of Sint-Gillis-Brussel has been inaccessible to the public for several years because of a possible risk of collapse.
According to our data, 101 military victims of WWI were buried in the crypt.
On December 15, 2016, we received the permission of the Sint-Gillis district of Brussels to photograph in the crypt.
We found 105 graves instead of 101.
In the cemetery itself, there are two more military victims of the First World War buried under an ordinary tombstone.
