Ablain-Saint-Nazaire, Notre-Dame de Lorette

At the largest French military cemetery, Notre-Dame de Lorette (over 40,000 individual graves) in Aublain-Saint-Nazaire is a lone Belgian buried with his French “copains”. His name is nowhere to be found, because he enlisted, fought and died, with the French army under a fictitious name.
