Le Havre, Sainte-Marie - Seine Maritime
2 Rue Eugène Ladoas
Le Havre was a hospital town during the First World War. Most of the wounded arrived here by hospital ship.
Of the Belgian wounded heroes that came here, 133 sadly ended up in the municipal cemetery of Le Havre Sainte-Marie. All our heroes here are under our traditional headstone and there are no unknown soldiers.
They rest criss-cross between French and Commonwealth casualties. In Le Havre, the honorary parks are immense and searching for our countrymen took a lot of time.
